Psychodiagnostic assessment
Indicated by a doctor or clinical psychologist, the assessment helps clarify a person's mental state, abilities, strengths and weaknesses. It combines an interview with testing methods — comprehensive, targeted (e.g. memory, attention) or for other purposes (firearms licence etc.).
Crisis intervention
A special short-term intervention in situations where mental equilibrium has been disturbed. Its aim is to help restore balance and strengthen the client's existing capabilities; by mutual agreement it may develop into psychotherapy.
Professional counselling
Intended for people seeking academic or professional direction. It is based on an interview and, as a rule, appropriate psychodiagnostic methods.
Counselling for relatives and loved ones
An interview explaining the nature of the illness, providing advice and recommendations for further care — most often relating to Alzheimer's disease, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, addictions or acute crises.
Other services
Referral to specialised and collaborating institutions.
